luratec AG is a young, dynamic enterprise of the aviation and aerospace industry based in rostock. the emphasis of the business is laid on the development, design and production of fibre reinforced components. the company furthermore deals with the conception of systems solutions as well as with the research in the fields of light construction and aircraft recycling.
the administration, design and production department of luratec AG – with a gross hall area of over 1.500 sqare metres as well as an attached office building of 400 square metres – is favourably situated in regard to transport facilities at the business park rostock-schmarl. luratec ag furthermore runs an office in the CTC composite technology center in stade.
the enterprise was registered in the commercial register rostock on june, 23rd in 2005 and is certificated according to en 9100:2003 aerospace series quality management systems since june 14th, 2006.

hans-jürgen henneke
hans-jürgen henneke is founder, sole shareholder and ceo of luratec AG.
henneke, a graduated engineer, was born in 1962 in wolfenbüttel. he has been working for the international aerospace and defence industry for more than two decades. between 1989 and 2000 he worked for eads in friedrichshafen, bremen and kourou (french-guiana) where he participated in the development and design of satelites as well as the ariane 5. the focus of his work involved innovative composite sandwich constructions made of titanium, aluminium and carbon fibre.
from 2000 to 2002 hans-jürgen henneke worked for aircabin, a subsidiary of airbus, in laupheim. in 2002 he was appointed manager of ktn – kunststofftechnik nobitz gmbh, situated at the airport altenburg-nobitz. within three years, the company’s number of employees had not only risen from 10 to 150 but the company had made a name for itself as a renowned supplier for the aerospace industry.
in 2005 hans-jürgen henneke became his own boss by starting up the company luratec AG.
